DESCRIPTION:The Bulverde Christmas Tree Lighting an event that celebrates the season and takes place the Friday after Thanksgiving.  Come out to shop at a variety of vendors\, enjoy some great food and get into the holiday spirit.  The snow will fall so the kids\, young and old\, can enjoy tossing a snowball or just playing in the snow. \n\n\n\nThe Mayor of Bulverde will light up the tree just before Santa arrives on a fire truck courtesy of the BSB Fire and EMS.  Santa is welcomed with open arms by hundreds of children seeking to share their wishes in hopes of fulfillment later in the December.\n\n\n\nLocal businesses participate and sponsor this annual event in an ongoing effort to build community cohesiveness and as a reminder to always shop locally whenever possible.
