This partnership builds strength\, stability and self-reliance through shelter. Habitat for Humanity builds safe\, decent\, affordable homes through volunteer labor and donations of money\, materials\, and services. Homes are sold to eligible partner homebuyers through affordable and supportive financing at no profit to Comal County Habitat.\n\n\n\nBasic qualifications for the Home Program include:\n\n Meeting specific HUD income guidelines\n Having lived or worked in Comal County for the past 12 months\n The ability to pay a long-term\, affordable mortgage\,\n Legal residency in the United States\n The ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.\n\nFor those interested in learning more about purchasing a home\, Comal County Habitat will host two homebuyer presentations at the end of March and beginning of April.
