H.I.S. - Brennan L. Livaudais Scholarship Recipients
Ms. Jenna Dixon and Ms. Lindsay Pattison each received an H.I.S.-Brennan L. Livaudais Scholarship of $1,000 on May 19th, 2021, Wednesday evening, at Smithson Valley High School’s Senior Awards Ceremony. Representing The Healthcare, Innovation and Sciences (H.I.S.) Centre of Spring Branch, Texas, Mr. Ken Livaudais, H.I.S. Scholarship Founder, made the presentation.
Ms. Dixon will pursue a degree in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University at College Station. Jenna Dixon is the daughter of Michael and Kirsten Dixon of Spring Branch, TX.
Ms. Pattison will pursue a degree in Nursing at University of Texas at Arlington. She is the daughter of John and Lisa Pattison of San Antonio, Texas.
2021 is the first year for awarding the H.I.S.-Livaudais scholarships to Comal ISD graduating high school seniors. The H.I.S.-Livaudais scholarship has been awarded 33 times since 2012 to students in Emergency Medicine professional courses.
Monday evening, June 17, 2021, Ken and I presented our first Comal ISD - HIS Livaudais Scholarship to Ms. Madalyn Brown at Canyon HS in New Braunfels. Ms. Brown will attend UTSA and study Biomedical Science.
