Kiwanis Diaper Drive for St Jude’s Ranch for Children

2020 totals this year for Kiwanis Diaper Drive for St Jude’s Ranch for children exceeded the drive last year thanks to the generous people of our communities with the donations of 14,408 Diapers 18,986 wipes, a Johnson gift pack, stuffed animal, baby clothes, and $150.

This year we had four schools engaged in collection of diapers and wipes. Canyon Lake High School Student Council advisor Tina Platt and students collected 2,601 diapers and 1,496 wipes. Bracken Christen School National Junior Honor Society advisor Abby Cobb and her students collected 2,382 diapers and 4,584 wipes. Smithson Valley High School Key Club Debbie Shewbridge and Carol Spellman and students collected 1,391 diapers and 3,328 wipes. Canyon High School advisor Leanne Blackwell and students collected 757 diapers and 1,572 wipes. These four schools made a huge impact on the diaper drive and we extend to them a BIG THANK YOU.

We give a big thanks to the organizations that participated in Spring Branch, Bulverde, and Canyon Lake area: Ay Chiwawa Mexican Restaurant, Bracken Christian School, Broadway Bank, Bulverde Baptist Church, Canyon Lake High School Student Council, First United Bank, Mammen Public Library, Massage Heights, Morningstar Storage, Rebecca Creek Baptist Church, Reliance Realty, Sonora Bank, Smithson Valley High School Key Club, State Securities Bank and Trust, and State Farm Insurance.   Boxes donated by Morningstar Storage.

Another big thanks goes to the organizations that participated in New Braunfels and San Marcos: A-New-U Salon, Briggs Family Medicine, Canyon High School Key Club, City of New Braunfels, Comal County Sheriff's Office, First Commercial Bank (both locations), Frost Bank, Gruene Road Pharmacy, Gypsy Waltz Yoga, Massage Heights, New Braunfels Fire Department, New Braunfels Police Department, Orange Leaf Yogurt in Westpointe Village, Red Dawg Yoga (San Marcos), Reliance Realty, St. John’s Episcopal Church and West Pointe New Braunfels Storage.  The boxes were donated by West Pointe New Braunfels Storage.
