If you are just starting out as a beginner working in a home studio, this workshop is for you! Join resident metalsmith Francesca Watson for a fun two-days all about fabricating and sizing rings.

We'll start out with simple stackers, build on that skill with a fun fidget ring, and finish up with a simple prong-set band. You'll learn about making sure your finished rings will fit (yes, there's a little math involved!), and explore the capabilities of the flex-shaft, including drilling and using burs. Along the way, we'll discuss the properties of sterling silver; why flux is important and which ones work best for silver; how to get a professional finish on your piece; and much more.
