In order to promote responsible growth, the City of Bulverde is considering expanding its municipal boundaries to include certain properties with high development potential. These properties generally consist of large tracts of undeveloped land near the current City Limits. The City has identified 11 such areas for consideration, and more information about those areas and the annexation process in general is available on this page.
Persons owning land within these annexation areas which is assessed as agricultural, wildlife management, or timber land for ad valorem tax purposes, may be able to forego annexation by entering into a development agreement with the City. Owners of such property wishing to pursue an agreement in lieu of annexation should contact the City by clicking here.
