Description
TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) is holding a public meeting to discuss the air quality permit application filed by Vulcan Materials to set up a 1500-acre quarry in Comal County. The proposed quarry site stretches three miles across, and is planned for a non-industrial area in between Bulverde, Spring Branch, New Braunfels, and Garden Ridge (close to SH 46, FM 3009, FM 1863, and Beck Road). TCEQ has issued a draft permit because the executive director has determined it meets all TCEQ rules and regulations.
