Description
The Friends of the Guadalupe River State Park present our second tour of the historic Doeppenschmidt-Weidner Ranch. Explore the ranch site of the earliest settlers in the Honey Creek State Natural Area. Visit the grave of Jacob Doeppenschmidt (d. 1872). Learn about ranching in the early-mid 20th century. Listen to Weidner descendants tell tales about their grandparents’ ranch.
