The Super Star Teacher program recognizes teachers serving Western Comal County area schools who show excellence in leadership, creativity, and imagination in and out of the classroom setting.
For April, we recognized CISD - Smithson Valley High School's JULIAN JOHNSON!

Julian Johnson teaches Social Studies at Smithson Valley High School. His room reflects the various areas that they class travels to mentally as they learn about other countries and cultures.
"Mr. Johnson is a dedicated, reliable teacher for not only his students but for his peers. He is available for his students and lets his students know that he cares about them and supports them in all they can do, both inside and outside of the classroom."
Mr. Johnson goes above and beyond for his students. He attends their games, award ceremonies, and outside of school events.
