Join us for a class on building Fresh Cut Cedar Garlands. Attendees will bring their own fresh cut cedar and foraged plants and grasses off of their property.
Don't be afraid to get creative with your materials - anything with texture or color can be a great addition. This could be a wonderful new tradition for you and your family from gathering materials, to creating the garland! RSVPs are appreciated at info@scgardens.com
THINGS TO KNOW: - Measure your space and bring PLENTY of Cedar (preferably cut a day or two before the class). This will be made into the actual garland and all of your other foraged materials will act as "fillers." We will gladly help you get all your cedar cuttings into the garland making area! - We will provide the necessary wire and tools - Consider bringing gloves if you have sensitive hands - Some of our materials suggestions: Clumps of native grasses, Oak Tree sprigs, Spanish Moss, Rosemary, Pyracantha sprigs, gray or green Santolina, Rabbitbrush, Holly, etc.
