Description
In honor of National Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27, come out to the library and meet the authors and learn about the story behind the memorable book, Letters to Rose, A Holocaust Memoir with Letters of Impact and Inspiration from the Next Generation.
Becky Hoag will introduce the book and its structure; Rose Williams will relay her story of six years in the Polish ghetto of Radom and in numerous concentration camps under Nazi control; and a Robin Philbrick will share a couple of student letters from the memoir that illustrate her impact on young people today.
This is an adult and teen program, registration is required. If younger ages are attending we ask that they be no younger than middle school. Letters to Rose will be available for purchase. All will be presigned, but dedication by Rose and individual photos with Rose can occur after the formal presentation.
