Bring your lunch and learn something new at Ranger Craig's Nature Series - Wildflowers of the Texas Hill Country
Texas is home to more than 5,000 vascular plants, including a wonderfully diverse assemblage of wildflowers found in the Texas Hill Country. Join Park Ranger and Naturalist Craig Hensley from Guadalupe River State Park for an intimate look at the wildflowers found in our area. You'll learn their identities, natural history and value. We will follow up with a field experience at the park on Friday, May 25 from 10 am to 12 pm to enjoy them firsthand. Registration is suggested.
The Follow-up Field Experience will be on Friday, May. 25, 10 am - 12 pm at the Guadalupe State Park, we will meet at the Headquarters parking lot at the park entrance. Please note that there is a park entrance fee of $7 for anyone aged 13 and over (free entrance with a TPWD park pass).
