Description
As residents of one of the most beautiful areas of Texas, we know why we are one of the fastest growing areas in the US. Our state is also one of the most prosperous in the US. So why does Texas rank among the worst for healthcare with the highest uninsured rate in the nation?
The League of Women Voters of the Comal Area (LWVCA) invites the public to an online discussion of the current state of healthcare in Texas on Wednesday, March 17, at 7 p.m. on Zoom (ID: 899 8656 3219 pw: 270440) and Facebook Live @ LWVComalTX. League of Women Voters of Texas
Healthcare Issue Chair, Health Educator and Consultant Andrea Stewart Roa will review the League’s positions on healthcare that include the adequate funding for a comprehensive health care system for older adults to ensure a seamless continuum of quality care and a basic level of health care for the medically indigent, including children of low-income families
The meeting will include a Q&A period and will be recorded for later viewing on LWVCA’s YouTube channel, @LWVComalArea.
