Administrative Assistant
We are a construction firm looking for an administrative assistant to provide administrative support to office and field staff. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative, office and clerical duties
- Maintain vehicle and equipment hours and service logs
- Track materials for multiple projects
- Review subcontract and project documents
- Assist with basic proposals, including generation of letters and fees
- Assists project manager with project set-up, organization of job information, document preparation and project billings
- Vendor invoice coordination, including purchaser review/approval, coding and submission to accounting
- Procure and maintain all seasonal and permanent employee records
- Assist with internal initiatives related to safety, quality and training
- Other duties may be assigned
Required Skills:
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks efficiently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Perform typing, data entry, and computer applications with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
- Execute good customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively via telephone and e-mail
- Excellent communication skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 plus years’ related experience in office administration, project coordination
