Teller
Community Bank seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bank Teller. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills along with a keen focus on accuracy and efficiency. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while performing various banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Customer Service:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers with their banking needs, including deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries.
- Listen to customers' concerns and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude at all times, ensuring a pleasant banking experience for every customer.
Transaction Processing:
- Process cash and check deposits accurately, verifying amounts and endorsements.
- Dispense cash withdrawals and cashier's checks according to established procedures.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Follow all security protocols to safeguard customers' assets and maintain a secure banking environment.
Product Knowledge:
- Educate customers about our products and services, including savings accounts, loans, and online banking options.
- Refer customers to New Account Representative for assistance with account openings, closures, and maintenance procedures.
- Stay informed about current banking regulations to provide accurate information to customers.
Administrative Tasks:
- Complete paperwork and documentation accurately, including deposit slips and withdrawal forms.
- Maintain organized records of transactions and customer interactions.
- Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by management.
