Contemporary Worship Leader

This primary responsibility of this part time (15-20 hours/week) position is to lead the contemporary service in worship through music.  This person will always act in a manner that reflects their faith in Christ and adheres to the Bulverde Methodist Church personnel policies.  Hours are primarily Sunday morning services, Thursday evening rehearsals and could involve other needs such as funerals, weddings, and special services.

The Contemporary Worship Leader should be comfortable both as a solo worship leader and as the leader of a larger group of musicians and singers.  He or she should have an appreciation for all types of musical expressions in worship.  Will work closely with pastoral staff to determine appropriate musical selections for services.
