Job Summary:
Our hotel is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities and equipment. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to our hotel's systems and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Respond to guest requests for maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
- Perform repairs and upgrades to hotel equipment and systems as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
