BULVERDE POLICE DEPARTMENT INVITES COMMUNITY TO ATTEND NATIONAL NIGHT OUT 2024

BULVERDE, TX – National Night Out is set for Tuesday, October 1st this year.  This nationwide event is a great way to get involved in your community by meeting your neighbors and members of the Bulverde Police Department and other first responders.

This year marks the 41st Annual National Night Out crime and drug prevention event, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) and your Bulverde Police Department. Please join us for an evening of fun as Bulverde unites to give crime and drugs a going away party we can all enjoy. Our Hosts are eager to open their homes and their hearts once again to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. There is no better way to send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

National Project Coordinator Matt Peskin said, “This is a night for America to stand together to promote awareness, safety and neighborhood unity.  National Night Out showcases the vital importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement in our fight to build a safer nation.  On NNO, we invite neighborhoods nationwide to join us in “Giving Crime & Drugs a Going Away Party.”

Each subdivision that signs up to participate will be visited by officers from the Bulverde Police Department, City and County officials, and First Responders from the area.  Many neighborhoods will be hosting special events such as block parties, a petting zoo, live music, food trucks, and other activities.

The Bulverde Police Department invites the community to join them for an evening of fun, education, and unity while we share successful results of our 2023-2024 Project 365, Community Oriented Prevention (COP). This is a program that was designed to educate citizens and businesses within the community while committing additional police resources.
