Uncork the Fun: Gruene Music & Wine Festival Returns October 9–12

GRUENE, TEXAS (July 28, 2025) – Raise a glass and mark your calendars. The 39th Annual Gruene Music & Wine Festival, presented by Gruene Hall and KNBT 92.1 FM Radio New Braunfels, returns October 9 – 12, 2025. This beloved Hill Country tradition offers four days of Texas wines & brews, Americana and Country music and a community celebration all set in the iconic Gruene Historic District.

Tickets went on sale August 1st at www.gruenemusicandwinefest.org.


What began as a small, one-day gathering has grown into a four-day festival that gives back in a big way. Proceeds benefit United Way of Comal County, which supports dozens of area nonprofits focused on food security, education, mental health, housing support, and emergency assistance throughout the region. Sponsors include JP Morgan Chase & Co, M&S Engineering, Valero, Cemex Balcones Quarry, Mission Hill Apartment Homes, Joeris Charitable Foundation, GolesCo, RBFCU and many others.

2025 Festival Schedule Thursday, October 9th

  • Kick-Off Party at The Grapevine (5–8 PM): Free to attend, enjoy local artists and live music. Wine tasting from 8 Texas wineries and breweries (tasting tickets available online)
  • Jamey Johnson at Gruene Hall (8 PM): Ticketed concert

Friday, October 10th

  • Stars & Guitars at Gruene Hall (5-8 PM): Ticket purchases can enjoy a seated dinner catered by the Gristmill Restaurant, along with wine from three select Texas wineries, while enjoying a meet ‘n’ greet and listening to an exclusive private acoustic set from Josh Abott Band. Plus there will also be a silent auction and the Great Guitar Auction which will include guitars signed by George Strait, Ty Myers, William Beckmann, John Wolfe, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Silverada, Randy Rogers & Wade Bowen, Dennis Quaid, Jakob Dylan, Steve Earle, Robert Earl Keen, Pat Green, Lyle Lovett, Josh Turner, Sara Evans, Sunday Showdown 2024 artists, Clay Walker, and of course Josh Abbott to be signed on stage!
  • Josh Abbott Band at Gruene Hall (9 PM): Ticketed concert

Saturday, October 11th

  • Tastings & Tunes at The Grapevine (12–6 PM): Free daytime admission. Live Americana music, and wine tasting from 12 Texas wineries and breweries (tasting tickets available online)
  • Chaparelle at Gruene Hall (9 PM): Ticketed concert

Sunday, October 12th

  • Cody Canada’s Sunday All-Star Playlist at Gruene Hall (2-7 PM): Ticketed all-day finale curated live music, lineup includes: Cody Canada, Justin Furstenfeld (of Blue October), William Clark Green, Jamie Lin Wilson, Mike McClure, Shelby Stone, Dalton Domino, Graycie York, Drew Cooper, Jordan Nix and Mila Rae.  
  • Festivalgoers can also enjoy exploring Gruene’s boutiques, restaurants, and new attractions like Gruene Mini Golf, which are open throughout the weekend.
