PE Teacher/Coach (2026-2027 school year)

Position Description: Bracken Christian School partners with Christian families through the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit to provide an excellent education within the context of a biblical worldview, equipping students to impact their communities for Christ.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing PreK through Middle School programs and goals in each respective area, actively engaging students in activities, overseeing campus motor lab and building strong relationships with students.  In addition to the PE teacher job duties listed, this position will also support Middle School football and basketball and High School football. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in organizing the class, know how to make learning a meaningful and enjoyable process, as well as the ability to incorporate a biblical worldview into teaching that is distinctively Christian. 
 

Qualifications:

Education/Certification: 

• Has a bachelor’s degree in physical education or equivalent from an accredited college or university

• Holds (or be eligible to hold) a teaching certificate in physical education

• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience:

• Proven experience as a teacher in elementary and middle school

• Strong Christian faith and personal testimony

• Prior Christian school experience

• Proven experience as a teacher

• Knowledge of Google Workspace
